A couple of years ago my old roommate Sean Herman told me about a book, 'Snow Crash', by Neal Stephenson. It was a fascinating read, set far in the future where people inhabit two worlds, the real and the cyber. My goal is to capture my essence via this page, allow people to know me by my content. Of course, I'm saying all this right now because I have nothing better to do. Who knows, this page may end up as one of the many inhabitants of the cyberwasteland, half done and useless - only time will tell.
My life & Interests
Cybervillage - No man is an island, and now at the dawn of the 21st century, no man has an unlinked webpage. Located on this page are links to my friends, my acquaintances and whoever else wants to link to me.
My New Apartment - Because people are always asking, here are some of the details on my new apartment on the upper west side. I wish this had been the price though! (The picture display can be a bit temperamental. If you only see small displays, click on the 2nd page of pics and then move the mouse over the pictures. For some reason, this makes everything display full size, even back to the first page.)
Computer - As a computer user, I'm always out there looking for tricks & tips to do things easier and more efficiently. You can find those things here, including Multi-search engines, useful sites for free gifs/jpgs and free web space.
Finance - Cash, that's the name of the game. As a wealthy man once said, money doesn't buy happiness, but poverty doesn't either. I'm an unabashed capitalist so take that and like it! Here are links to various financial sites, good free advice and portfolio builders.
Retail - Here are some of my favourite places to shop, including auction sites.
Travel - One of my loves is travelling, so on this page I've put accounts and pictures of some of my travels along with tips, hints and links to online booking of travel.
