My cousin's wedding was an excuse to take a
long overdue trip back to India. Having been away for 15 years made
the changes all the more pronounced, especially with the modernization
that started with the capitalist government in the early '90s. I
managed to meet numerous cousins who hadn't even been born the last time
I was there. I also did a lot more travelling, taking a heinous 18
hour bus trip down to Trivandrum (

) and from there to the cape where 3 oceans meet (tip of India).
Back to Bangalore I headed up on a 2 day train ride to Lucknow (

) in the north for my cousin's wedding. After a week
there my uncle and I toured around the north of India, from the foothills
of the Himalayas to the Taj Mahal (

) and New Delhi.
